Second Future

War, escape, loss and a new life in Germany that poses constantly changing challenges This is what life is like for Amir, a Syrian refugee whois trying to get a second chance to find peace and security in Germany. A small film company gives him the opportunity to demonstrate his filming skills. Easier said than done –in Germany you need a certificate to prove that you are a real film producer. This is not the case in Syria. Amir doesn’t have much time to convince his boss that he is talented. Within a few days he has to finish a challenging film project. Supported by his colleague Micha, he sets to work immediately. Painful memories of his pasthaunt him during his work and he has to cope with people who don’t wish him well. However, he doesn’t give up.
